This was the first of the eight boxes I painted... Photos you see of these sea nettles in aquariums show them swimming the other way, downwards... Artistic license turned them around!

If you've ever seen video of it underwater, you know of the Sea Lion's astounding flexibility and speed. Their playfulness and soulful eyes are legendary, likening them to underwater puppies.

Who doesn't love the adorable Sea Otter? Well, maybe the starfish held by those clever paws... This one is a juvenile, which accounts for the snowy pelt. The Capitola Wharf stretches into the distance.

Several local fishermen requested their beloved striper on a box, so I scrubbed an earlier design in favor of this popular and tasty fellow. Ms. Garibaldi also makes an appearance.

This is a cloud ceiling mural, painted on custom made panels in the studio, using airbrush and traditional hand brushwork. It was then installed in this uniquely shaped restroom.
